Balance
Five placements in water, none in air. That is a real imbalance rather than a rounding artefact, and it does not mean this person cannot think — the ninth-house Mercury settles that question.
What an empty air element usually describes is a person who does not naturally externalise their reasoning, and who therefore appears to arrive at positions rather than to argue toward them.
