Why the archive exists

A daily horoscope is the one page on a site that is genuinely obsolete tomorrow and genuinely permanent afterwards. Published at a single evergreen address it gets rewritten 365 times a year, which throws away 364 days of writing and quietly redirects every link ever earned to a particular day’s reading toward whatever replaced it.

These pages are kept instead. Each states the sky it was written against — where the Moon stood, where Sagittarius’s ruling planet was, what was retrograde — computed from the same astronomical series as the birth charts on this site and checkable against any published ephemeris for the date.

What the archive is not is a backfill. Nothing here was generated retroactively to make the list longer; the record begins when the record began. An archive that invents its own history is worth less than no archive at all.
